Amber Makes Sewing Block of the Month is a series of twelve panels all featuring different sewing related items and using a variety of techniques so you can create and learn as you go. Collect and make them all to piece into a beautiful quilt when they’re finished. Each panel includes all the fabric needed to make the Block, an illustrated version of the block, and a bonus mini project too! 

With Press Flat, you’ll learn padded appliqué to give the iron motif an extra three-dimensional appearance, so it really stands out then add a couched or embroidered cord for a realistic flex. The fabric panel also includes an illustrated version of Press Flat in the same size as the appliquéd block that you’re going to make. You can use this for other projects or in your quilt. On the panel you’ll find enough fabric to make the Press Flat Block, the illustrated version, and the pieces to make a set of eight matching Pattern Weights. The instructions show you exactly how to make these including the Peg Bag featuring the iron motif and a long strap so you can hang it round your neck, over your shoulder or on the washing line. 

The instructions include the password to join the members only Amber Makes Sewing Block of the Month Facebookgroup where you can download a free set of instructions to create your very own Quilt Block Keeper for storing your finished blocks.
